About SiteDNA
SiteDNA is a property-centric site audit tool for landscape account managers. It was built by a tight-knit team that has run landscape crews, managed maintenance contracts, and watched good account managers burn out on scattered spreadsheets and 11pm emails. We're fixing that.
Four co-founders, all landscape business owners. A lean engineering and design team. We ship new code daily, and don't pretend to be bigger than we are.
Why we exist
We help managers of landscape maintenance contracts lead with clarity, serve their customers better, grow their portfolios, and live with less stress.
The origin
Brandon & Michelle spent 11 years building a commercial landscape maintenance company in Calgary before selling the business in 2024. Jonathan and Jason currently run a high-volume landscape maintenance company in Denver. The same three problems showed up in both: enhancement work left on the table, customer updates lost in our scattered notepads, and account managers burning out trying to hold it all together as we scaled up. Existing software put services on the schedule, no one handled the QC issues or enhancement recommendations well.
"After 20 years in the landscape and snow industry, I've seen the same pattern over and over: Account Managers struggling to track and suggest enhancements, manage crew quality, and stay on top of countless small issues and requests from their customers. Scattered notes, overflowing inboxes, and photos lost in phones is the norm."
Brandon Comstock, Co-founder and CEO
The team came together next. We built our team of engineers and designers who had spent years building software for operators, some we had worked with for years before. Hypha Dynamics Inc. was incorporated. The first prototype, then called IssueID, went out to a handful of landscape companies. The shape of the product settled around the property.
SiteDNA is being built by people who've lived this. We've likely shared all the highs and lows you've gone through running a landscape operation. Brandon has spent two decades in landscape and snow. Michelle spent fifteen years inside landscape firms, including a decade as CFO of a commercial landscape company, and now advises landscape businesses on systems and financial visibility. Jonathan has worked in software companies for years and Jason started as a field technician and has worked in every role in the landscape industry from technician to owner and everything in between (including account manager).
We're excited to be the ones to solve this problem for our industry once and for all, and love seeing all of the maintenance teams it is helping.

How this shows up
No one else in landscape software is this property-centric. No one else is built specifically for the account manager. We get to define the shape.
Every feature earns its slot. Every dollar of spend earns its ROI.

How we're different
Your CRM handles week-to-week scheduling from the contract. Fine. We handle what doesn't fit: crew todos, reminders, enhancement recommendations, the details too cumbersome for a scheduling tool.
Built to manage your sites better. Inspections go faster, issues live in one place until resolved. No more repeating yourself, or feeling like a used car salesman pushing enhancements.
Stop chasing people for updates. Know inspections actually got done, see exactly what issues exist and where they are on the map, and watch how they're being resolved.
